Day 1: Nairobi
Our representative will meet you at the
airport on arrival. Transfer to Norfolk hotel for overnight
followed by detailed briefing. Dinner at the Carnivore
resturant, renowned for delicacies on a variety of game
meat, general cuisine is also served.
Day 2: Nairobi /Amboseli
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and head
south to Namanga on the Kenya / Tanzania border to arrive
in time for Lunch at Ol Tukai Lodge. After a short siesta,
afternoon game drive to enjoy the beautiful views of
Mt. Kilimanjaro and diverse variety of animals and birds
at swamps and streams created by melting snows from
the mountain. After dinner, settle around a campire
for traditional folks songs and dancing by the enchanting
Masaai.
Day 3: Amboseli
The following day awaken to the sounds
of African wilderness with an early game drive. Return
to the lodge for breakfast. Afternoon game drive folloed
by a bush dinner where you dine with sounds and sights
of wildlife. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.
Day 4: Amboseli / The Ark
Early morning breakfast and depart for
the Mountains. The drive gives the visitor an unrivalled
view of natural beaul beauty. Lunch at Aberdares Country
Club. After lunch, transfer to the Ark, st deep in the
mountain forest and overlooking a floodlit water hole.
Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.waterbuck, forest hog may be
observed from the safety and comfort of the lodge.
Day 5: The Ark / Samburu
Drive north to the arid plains of Samburu
to Samburu Intrepids, which is perched on the banks
of the Uaso Nyiro River. After lunch, proceed for an
afternoon game drive. Overnight at Samburu Intrepids.
Day 6: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game viewing drivs
offer close encounters with some of Africa's most charismatic
beasts, from majestic elephant and muscular buffalo
to the sleek oryx, gerenuk and reticulated giraffe.
Overnight at Samburu Intrepids
Day 7: Samburu / Sweetwaters:
Return to the highlands of Mt. Kenya for
a night at sweetwaters private game reserve. Afternoon
game viewing includes Chimpazee consrvation projects.
Overnight at Sweetwaters luxury tented lodge.
Day 8: Sweetwaters/Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Niavasha
Country Club arriving in time for lunch. There are optional
activities in the afternoon like, boat rides, bird watching,
& a visit to Hell's gate.
Day 9: Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart Naivasha and countinue
across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the homeland
of the Maasai. Arrive in time for lunch at the Keekorok
Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive in pursuit
of the Big five. Overnight at Keekorok lodge.
Day 10: Maasai Mara
A full day game viewing in the Mara, beginning
just after sunrise while the dew is fresh on the grass
and the animals are active. There is a likely hood of
seeing the "Big Five" Lion, Elephant, Rhino,
Leopards and Baffalo, but just as captivating are the
lesser-known species such as Hyena, cheetah, Jackal,
warthog and antelope.
Day 11: Maasai Mara /Nairobi.
After breakfast, depart the Mara arriving in Nairobi
Late afternoon.
