NAIROBI, MT.KENYA, SAMBURU, L.NAKURU, MAASAI MARA / NAIROBI - 9 DAYS/8 NIGHTS

Day 1: Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport - Nairobi you will be met and transferred to Intercontinental Hotel for Overnight.

Day 2:

Visit the former home of Karen Blixen, now a museum. Here you will have the opportunity to experience the former residence of the old famous Danish writer Karen Blixen and to admire the view of Ngong Hills from the beautiful gardens. Later, drive on to the Giraffe center to see and feed Daisy the famous Rothschild Giraffe.

Lunch at the carnivore restaurant is a gastronomic experience not to be missed! Famous for its succulent steaks, barbequed dishes and game meat, it is equally enjoyable for its ambiance and festive atmosphere. Later in the evening, proceed for a city tour with a visit to the national museum.

Day 3: Mt Kenya.

A morning drive to Mt. Kenya region (Nanyuki). Day 4 Samburu:

Descend from the highlands into the arid Northern plains of Samburu. Afternoon game viewing. Look for the unusual animal species such as Reticulated Giraffe, oryx, Grevy Zebra or the long necked Gerenuk.

Spend the night along the banks of the beautiful Uaso Nyiro River at the luxurious Samburu Lodge.

Day 5: Samburu

Further exploration of this fascinating reserve awaits you. Full day game drives planned for you as you travel through the world's most spectacular and exciting terrain. Dinner and overnight Samburu Lodge .

Day 6: Lake Nakuru

Depart Samburu and drive down the awe-inspiring escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The history of the Rift Valley dates back million of years during the great earth movements. Proceed past the towns of Mai Mahiu, Naivasha on to Lake Nakuru Natioanal Park. Afternoon game drive.

Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 7: Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart Nakuru and countinue across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the homeland of the Maasai. Arrive in time for lunch at the Keekorok Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive in pursuit of the Big five. Overnight at Keekorok lodge.

Day 8: Maasai Mara

A full day game viewing in the Mara, beginning just after sunrise while the dew is fresh on the grass and the animals are active. There is a likely hood of seeing the "Big Five" Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopards and Baffalo, but just as captivating are the lesser-known species such as Hyena, cheetah, Jackal, warthog and antelope.

Day 9: Maasai Mara /Nairobi.
After breakfast, depart the Mara arriving in Nairobi Late afternoon.
