Proceed to Nairobi to connect for your
flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve reonwned as one of
the world's richest wildlife sanctuaries. Accommodation
will be Kichwa Tembo.
The Camp nestles below the Oloololo Escarpment
of the Great Rift Valley, affording spectacular views
of the Masai Mara's game-filled plains.
Day 1: Amboseli
Depart Nairobi Wilson Airport in the morning
and fly to Amboseli Naitional Park. On arrival to be
met at the airstrip and transferred to Tortillis Camp
with game drive en route. Nestled in the foothills of
Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is home to the legendry
Maasai tribesmen and is world famous for its tremendous
variety of big game. A spectacular afternoon gamedrive.
Stay tonight at Tortilis Tented camp.
Rustic style and supreme comfort are the hallmarks of
Tortilis. Kilimanjaro dominates the view from every
direction animals are seen browsing in the grasses and
drinking at the waterhole directly outside And, nestled
comfortably under huge spreading acacia tortilis trees
are the thatch-covered tents.
The luxurious tents are spacious and each
has a private veranda from which to enjoy the view,
as well as en suite bedroom where hot water abounds.
Day 2: Amboseli - Tortilis Camp
Amboseli is big game country: elephant,
Antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe. Fullday
game drives which will introduce you to the intense
beauty and drama that fills each day here. Return to
Tortilis for a steaming bath, cocktails and sumptuous
dinner.
Day 3: Amboseli / Nairobi / Maasai
Mara
After breakfast at camp transfer to the
airstrip to connect schedule flight to Wilson Airport-Nairobi.
Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, connect flight to Masaai
Mara game reserve. Upon arrival, you be met and transferred
from airstrip to Kichwa Tembo Lodge with game drive
en route. Lunch at the Lodge, after a short siesta proceed
on an afternoon game drive to return to lodge late evening.
Dinner and Overnight the lodge.
Day Four: Maasai Mara
Full day to get a closer look at the Mara
with morning and afternoon game viewing. The plains
with endless vistas and enormous herds of grazing wildlife
are a sign that the predators are hiding among acacia
trees, Black manned lion, Cheetah and Hyena. There hippos
in the rivers and over 450 bird species. Overnight at
Kichwa Tembo Lodge.
Day Five:
Transfer to the airstrip for schedule
flight back to Nairobi to arrive approx 1215hrs. Drop
at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward
flight home
