MOUNT KENYA, SAMBURU, LOLDAIGA HILLS & LAKE NAKURU

This itinerary covers the best areas of
the Northern region; the fertile highlands around the
Mount Kenya, Samburu and Buffallo Springs Game, Reserves,
Lolidaiga Hills and Lake the Rift Valley region.
Day One: Aberdere Country Club
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International
Airport, our representative will meet you for brifing,
before you commence your Safari driving North to Aberdere
Country Club set in luscious surroundings. Rest of the
day at leisure with many optional activities to choose
from.
Day Two: Samburu
After breakfast set off North to Samburu/
Buffalo springs, arriving at your lodge, which is set
up along the bank of Uaso Nyiro River. After few hours
of relaxation, an afternoon game drive along the banks
of the life-giving Uaso Nyiro River and the adjoining
game reserve.
The area is home to the rare and beautiful
species of Northern Kenya such as Grevy's zebra, reticulated
giraffe, gerenuk gazelle and the Somali Ostrich. Elephant,
Buffalo, lion leopard and many of the savannah game
are also found here. Overnight in Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day Three & Four: Samburu
Two whole days spent in Samburu/Buffalo
springs with morning and afternoon viewing. Overnight
in Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day Five & Six: Lolidaiga Hills
From Samburu you are driven south to a
private ranch in the Lolidaiga Hills. The camp will
be set up here, and the next two days are spent enjoying
various game viewing activities. During your stay here,
you will be able to go to escorted game walks.
Day Seven: Lake Nakuru
Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park,
this lake is famous for its extreme numbers of flamingoes,
so abundant in some months, they seem to form a pink
band a long the lake shores. The park also offers a
wide variety of other wildlife, including giraffe, buffalo,
waterbuck, lion, leopard and many other species.
Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day Eight: Nairobi
Depart for Nairobi after breakfast arriving
in time for lunch and last minute shopping.
