A special Lonrho circuit itinerary ideal

and luxury. The Ark is a tree-lodge uniquely shaped

which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb
vantage points for viewing the animals visiting the
salt lick and waterhole.
A ground-level bunker provides excellent
photographic opportunities, and the Yasabara waterhole
is floodlit by night to enable all-night viewing of
game. The Mara Safari Club camp is positioned on an
ox-bow of the Mara River, so that all en-suite tents
have a view of the hippo-filled river.
Day 1: Nairobi
Upon arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta
International Airport, you will be met by our representative
who will accompany you to your hotel to assist in check
in. Overnight at The Norfolk Hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi / Mt Kenya Safari Club.
After breakfast, depart for Mt. Kenya
Safari Club, just a 45 minutes flight from Nairobi to
Nanyuki airstrip. You will be transferred to Mt. Kenya
Safari Club, sprawled on the slopes of majestic Mount
Kenya; this exclusive private club offers an experience
of refined elegance and luxury unparalled anywhere in
the continent.
All amenities you would expect from such
an establishment are here, including horse riding stables,
golf, trout streams just brimming over, tennis and sauna.

Day 3: Mt. Kenya /Aberdares-Ark
After breakfast depart for Aberdares Country
club, a haven of unharried charm set in gardens bursting
with profusion of colour with peacocks stlking the lush
lawns.Lunch AT Aberdares Country Club before embarking
on the half-hour drive to The Ark.
The lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole
and saltlick which attracts a host of wildlife i.e rhino,
elephant, leopard, bushbuck and occasionally an elusive
Bongo or giant forest Hog, this allows all - night game
viewing. Dinner and overnight at The Ark. Full board
Day 4: Aberdare / Masaai Mara
Drive back to Aberdare after breakfast
and transfer to the airstrip for schedule flight to
Maasai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival, representative
from Mara Safari Club will receive you, transfer to
Mara Safari Club for lunch, Dinner and overnight at
the Mara Safari Club Club.
Day 5: Maasai Mara
This full day is spent to explore the
parks' amazingly high concentration of game, landscape
and sheer beauty, Mara is the most spectacular of all
Kenyan parks and reserves, optional ctivities include,
visit to a Masai Village, hot air balloon rides and
walking safaris.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Safari Club.Day
Four: NairobiAfter breakfast, transfer to the airstrip
for schedule flight back to Nairobi to arrive approx
1215hrs.
Last minute shopping before proceeding
to the airport for onward flight home.
