The main highlight of the town is the Marine National Park, which boasts an amazing variety of corals and colorful fish that can be admired trough glass bottomed boats or directly snorkeling among them.

Depart from the hotel early and drive to Malindi (125kms) North of Mombasa, a popular holiday resort consisting of hotels and a local fishing Village with markets and shops in Arab /African style. En-route visit Gedi Ruins, an ancient ruined city that was mysteriously abandoned in the 13th century.

You embark on a glass bottom boat for a tour in the marine park to view the colorful tropical fishes and corals (remember to bring swimming suits and beach shoes). Lunch at a Malindi restaurant. Then a short drive out of town to a Giriama village to watch the performance of a tribal dancing.

Return to your hotel late afternoon
