The perfect safari for those who do not wish for much movement. This safari tour begins with the elegance of the historic Mount Kenya Safari club with its manicured lawns, beautiful views, many sports offerings and elegant dinning. It is not far to the next stop where you will encounter many species of plains game that roam in open bush country and guests stay in a luxury tented camp.

Tour starts: Nairobi-ends- Nairobi
Transportation: standard 9 seater van with pop up roof with radio communication.

Activities include: game viewing, bird watching, viewing of the snow capped Mt Kenya.

Day One: Nairobi/ Mt. Kenya
A morning drive to Mt. Kenya region (Nanyuki). Sprawled on the slopes of majestic Mount Kenya, this exclusive private club offers an experience of refined elegance and luxury un paralled anywhere in the continent. All amenities you would expect from such an establishment are here, including horse riding stables, golf, trout streams just brimming over, tennis and sauna. Day Two: Mt Kenya/Sweetwaters Sanctuary
Depart Mount Kenya Safari club for Sweetwater’s Tented Camp which is surrounded by 108,000 acres of bush country. Luxurious tents face a water hole with views of Mt. Kenya in the background. Reticulated giraffe, buffalo, Oryx, elephant and various species of plains game can be seen in this game sanctuary. Guests can go on an afternoon game drive as well as enjoy the excitement of a night game drive after dinner. Meal plan (B L D)

Day Three: Sweetwaters Sanctuary /Samburu Game Reserve
Descend from the highlands into the arid Northern plains of Samburu to arrive in time for lunch. Look for the unusual animal species such as Reticulated Giraffe, Oryx, Grevy Zebra or the long necked Gerenuk. Spend the night a long the banks of the beautiful Uaso Nyiro River at the luxurious Samburu Lodge or Samburu Serena. Meal plan (B L D

Day Four: Samburu Game Reserve
Further exploration of this fascinating reserve awaits you. Full day game drives planned for you as you travel through the world’s most spectacular and exciting terrain. Dinner and overnight Samburu Lodge or Samburu Serena. Meal plan (B L D

Day Five: Samburu Game Reserve /The Ark
Return to the highlands for night game viewing at the Ark or Treetops, situated deep in the Aberdares forests. The lodge’s balconies overlook a saltlick and waterhole where you will enjoy the very finest in high altitude game viewing. Dinner and overnight at The Ark or similar. Meal plan (B L D

Day Six: The Ark / Nairobi
After breakfast return to Nairobi. Meal plan (B)
