Day One: Nairobi.

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where by you will be met and transferred to Nairobi Safari Club .Meal plan ( B B) .

Day Two: Nairobi/Naivasha

Depart Nairobi and drive North West down the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley past Mai Mahiu on to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon at leisure with optional activities like boat riding, bird walks. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club. .Meal plan ( B L D) .

Day Three: Naivasha/ Baringo Depart Lake Naivasha and drive further north to Lake Baringo to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure with optional activities. Dinner and overnight at island Camp or Roberts Camp. .Meal plan ( BB) .

Day Four: Lake Baringo

Lake Baringo is an ornithologist’s paradise and one of the fresh water lakes on the Rift Valley. It offers panoramic view of the famed island,Olkokwe, home of Njemps. A boat trip will offer you a chance to spot the eagles, Goliath heron, Hippos, Crocodiles and other birds . Full day at Lake Baringo with various optional activities. Dinner and overnight at island Camp or Roberts Camp. Meal plan ( BB) .

Day Five: Lake Baringo/ Mt Elgon
Depart Lake Baringo drive via the cherengani which hide within its forests, some of the finest mountain ranges in the world to Kapenguria on to Kitale. Afternoon visit to the caves, hiking and nature walks. Bordering Uganda, Mount Elgon is one of the extinct volcanoes in East Africa, the highest peak measuring 4321 meters above sea level.

The main attraction in this park is the elephants renowned the world over for their tendency of digging salt, the major source of which is in the caves on the lower eastern slopes.

Dinner and overnight at Alkara Hotel or similar

Day Six: Mt Elgon/Kakamega
Morning walk to Saiwa Swamp, Kenya’s smallest game sanctuary established to protect the shy semi-aquatic entlope, the Sitatunga. Look out for other species like De- Brazza monkey, black and white monkey,turacos, kingfishers etc.

Proceed on Kakamega, Dinner and overnight at Rondo Retreat Center. Meal plan ( BB) .

Day Seven: Kakamega
Full day at Kakamega with packed lunch at Kakamega Forest. Activity for this day to include extensive nature walks within the Forest and bird watching.Kakamega forest is the town’s real treasure, a remnant of unbroken equatorial jungle that arched west to East across the continent.

The forest contains Kenya’s rarest arboreal, faunal, floral and avifaunal treasures. 20% of the amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals occur nowhere else in Kenya. Dinner and overnight Rondo Retreat.

Day Eight: Kakamega/Lake Victoria
After breakfast depart for Mfangono Island an Island in Lake Victoria for overnight. Dinner and overnight at Takawiri Island Resort or Mfangano Island Camp. Recommended for those who love fishing. Meal plan ( B L D) .

Day Nine: Lake Victoria/ Lake Nakuru
Depart Mfangono Island for Lake Nakuru , Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s most popular National Park because of its Rhino sanctuary and its home to millions of flamingos. Afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill. Meal plan ( B L D) .

Day Ten: Lake Nakuru/Nairobi
Depart for Nairobi arriving early afternoon, proceed for dinner at the carnivore thereby being transferred to the airport for your homebound flight.( B,B)

  1. Full board accommodation in the lodge/tented camp while on safari as per mentioned itinerary.
